BROTHERLY LOVE

Mommy says its nap time
But baby is awake,
So I'll just stop
And kiss our baby once
For Grandma's sake.
She told me on the phone
To be real good,
And to kiss the baby for her
Whenever I could.

I like our baby's pretty lips
They're pink as a rose.
I wonder how baby smells
With such a tiny nose.
And baby's ear is soft.
It wiggles when you bend it.
I wish our baby wouldn't cry
When I try to tend it.

Oh Baby Dear!
Stop waving your arms.
I'm going to kiss you 'night
I think it's time for your nap too.
Yep, Mommy says that's right.
We'll lie together side by side
And I'll whisper a secret true:
I like our family better
Since You came here.
