SISTERLY LOVE

A miracle was born,
And I was the one
Who prayed it so.
Did you know
That your sister asked every night
For angles to guard you
And bring you right
To our family?

I was Mommy's helper.
Sometimes I even tucked you in
When she was so very tired
She couldn't button a button,
Or pin a pin.
Our nanny's coming soon
She used to say,

And I would talk to Heavenly Father
And beg Him please
To let it be that day.

And now you're here,
My very own playmate
And I'll take care-
Such wonderfully good care of you-
Cause I'm your sister, you know,
